If you are already a member, you can renew your membership online.

We offer a range of memberships including individual, novice, family and junior or associate membership.  You can find information about all our membership option, including pricing, here.

Membership runs from 1st June – 31st May each year.

As a member, you’ll have unlimited free access to the tennis courts and changing facilities, and the ability to book courts via our online booking portal, Acebook.  New members will also receive a FREE half hour lesson with one of our coaches (terms & conditions apply).

As part of your membership application, you will be asked to give permission for your number to be added to the OLTC general members’ WhatsApp group.  If you are having trouble gaining access, please speak to a committee member or email contact@omaghltc.com.

Court bookings are made via the online Acebook portal.  Once your membership application has been processed, you can book a court for free by clicking on the ‘Book a Court’ tab on the OLTC website.  This will take you to our Acebook interface where you will need to register a profile for yourself and any family members included on your membership.  To book, simply select an available time, enter the player names and click ‘book’.  You will receive a confirmation by email.  If you book a court that you later no longer require, please cancel your booking so another member can avail of the court.

The court lighting system is operated via the meters outside on the clubhouse wall.  Lighting is charged at £3 per hour and meters can take £1 and £2 coins.

Rackets and balls are available for new members to borrow if required – please speak to a committee member or coach to arrange this.

Non-members who wish to “Pay & Play” can hire rackets for a small fee.

No.  Junior members enjoy all the same benefits as adult members.  Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times when using the courts.  If you wish to play tennis with your younger child for fun, we recommend a parent membership which costs £25 for the year.

Coaches can be contacted by email to contact@omaghltc.com or via the WhatsApp group for members.

Members can avail of group or individual coaching sessions.  Group coaching is advertised in 6-week blocks via the Club WhatsApp group – simply reply to reserve your space and pay on the first night.  Individual lessons should be booked privately with the coach.

The club runs a range of events and tournaments throughout the year, some internal for members only and some external for visiting players.  These include the Tyrone Open Championships, the OLTC internal doubles league, American Doubles, the internal singles box league, junior tournaments and cardio tennis.  We also run social events and club fundraisers from time to time.

This is a pre-arranged doubles league that runs throughout the autumn/winter and spring/summer season.  Matches are arranged by the coaches and take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  You will be matched with players of similar ability to ensure a fair and enjoyable game.  Players must register for the league at the start of each season.  If you miss your chance to sign up or can’t commit every week, you can still get involved as a sub for players who are unable to make their scheduled matches.

A fast and fun fitness-based tennis session with lots of running to get the heart pumping, and a chance to hit lots of tennis balls too.  Classes are arranged loosely by ability so there’s something for everyone, from beginners to advanced.  A great way to improve fitness and meet new people.  £5 per session, pay as you go – email contact@omaghltc.com

.

American Doubles is a round robin doubles event where players are paired at random.  Courts are tiered and at the end of each timed round, the winning pair moves ‘up’ to the next court or stays on if they are already on the top court.  The pair then splits up to be joined by new partners, and another round is played.  Prizes are awarded to the players who win the most games overall.

Club night takes place on Tuesday nights from 7-10pm and Friday nights from 6-8pm..  Club night is open to all members and the standard of tennis is mixed. Friday social tennis is more relaxed and provides a great way for beginners and new members to play and meet other members. The format is doubles; play a set and then rotate.  Stay for one game or the whole two hours, it’s up to you!

The box league is a singles league where players must arrange their own matches at a time that suits them.  You will be placed into a ‘box’ with 4-6 other players of similar ability.  All players in the same box play each other before an agreed deadline.  The player that wins the most matches will move up to the next box, and the player who wins the least matches will move down to the box below, then the cycle repeats.
